广西民族大学留学生招生简章（中英版）

广西民族大学位于广西壮族自治区首府，荣获联合国“人居环境奖”的南宁市，位于风景秀丽的相思湖畔。学校成立于1952年，是国家民委和广西区政府共建、广西重点建设的高等学校。学校面积有1983亩。学校设有18个学院，9个研究中心（研究所），58个普通本科专业，46个硕士点。专业覆盖了哲学、历史学、法学、教育学、文学、管理学、理学、工学、经济学9个学科门类。学校是中国教育部确定的“国家外语非通用语种本科人才培养基地” 、中国—东盟法律培训基地、中国支持周边国家汉语教学重点学校、中国政府奖学金留学生接收高校、海外汉语教师来华培训资助项目执行学校、国际汉语教师志愿者项目执行学校、中国汉语水平考试（HSK）考点，与泰国、老挝等国著名高校合办孔子学院。2009年学校成为广西2008—2015年新增博士学位授予单位的立项建设单位。2009年被中国高等教育学会外国留学生教育管理分会评为来华留学生教育管理工作先进集体。

现有国家级人才培养基地1个，自治区级重点学科5个，自治区级重点实验室及培育基地4个，自治区级人文社会科学重点研究基地及重点建设研究基地5个，自治区级实验教学示范中心5个；11个特色优势学科实验室建设项目进入中央与地方共建项目。这些重点学科等研究实验机构，构成了培养高质量、高层次人才的学术平台。
   近五年来，获国家级教学成果二等奖3项，国家级精品课程2门，教育部特色专业建设点4个；获自治区级教学成果奖20项（其中特等奖1项，一等奖4项），新增自治区级优质专业12个，自治区级精品、重点课程18门；承担省部级以上教改项目70项。

学校积极开展国际合作与交流活动，与国外76所高校和学术机构建立了交流与合作。共派出 6087 名在校学生到东盟国家高校学习，招收来自 29个国家的留学生 6000 多人；连续六届承担中国—东盟博览会志愿者培训任务，共选派志愿者3500多人次服务中国—东盟博览会和中国—东盟贸易洽谈会。越南国家主席陈德良、副总理范加谦，泰王国诗琳通公主，老挝总理波松等东盟国家政要都曾来我校参观访问。多层次的开放办学，增强了学校的办学活力，提高了学校的国际化程度。

一、汉语进修生

（一）课程设置

　　汉语初级班：开设初级汉语、初级口语、初级听力、初级阅读等课程

汉语中级班：开设中级汉语、中级口语、中级听力、中级阅读、外贸口语、中级写作、报刊语言、中文信息处理等课程

　　汉语高级班：开设高级汉语、高级口语、高级听力、高级报刊阅读、汉语语法、古代汉语、中国现当代文学、商务汉语、中国文化、汉字文化、中国地理、中国历史、中国经济、外贸写作等课程

有一定的汉语基础者允许插班学习，进修生可自愿选择学习半年、一年或更长的时间。　　

（二）招生对象

　　海外华侨、华人、外国留学生。

（三）入学条件

16岁以上、身体健康、持有效护照。

（四）汉语进修生结业

学习半年以上，成绩合格者发结业证书

二、本科专业

（一）中国语言文化本科专业

1．专业介绍

专业培养从事中国文化研究与交流、能熟练运用汉语进行沟通工作的通用型人才

2．课程设置

汉语综合（初级、中级、高级）、汉语口语（初级、中级、高级）、汉语视听、汉语阅读、汉语写作、汉语语法、中国现当代文学、中国古代文学、中国概况、中国文化等。

（三）本科留学生申请条件：

1．申请者必须是持有合法护照的外国公民，身体健康，愿意遵守中国的法律法规和学校的规章制度，尊重中国人民的风俗习惯；

2．申请者具有高中毕业以上学历；

3．申请者学习中国文学、中国历史、中国哲学专业，《汉语水平证书（HSK）》须达到中等C级（6级）；学习其他类专业（含汉语本科专业）须达到初等C级（3级）。

（四）本科生毕业

修满本专业规定的学分，发给相应的毕业证书，本科毕业生通过论文答辩者，授予学士学位证书。

三、研究生专业

（三）研究生申请条件：

1．申请者具有本科毕业文凭；

修满所修专业规定的学分，发给相应的毕业证书，通过论文答辩者，授予硕士学位证书。

四、汉语进修、本科专业、研究生专业收费标准

（一）汉语进修生

1．学费（单位：人民币）：

4．保险费（单位：人民币）：学习时间在六个月以上的外国留学生要缴纳

五、夏、冬令营

备注：

1．本收费标准为综合服务费，含教学、住宿、膳食、南宁市内车站或机场接送、表内安排的游览活动。

2．教学每周安排10-12课时，教学内容可根据对方要求灵活确定。

3．住宿为双人标准间，内有空调、彩电、热水器、电话等。

4．10人以上成团，20人以上免费1人。

International Student Admission for    

    Guangxi         University     for Nationalities  

Located by the beautiful Xiangsi Lake, Guangxi University for Nationalities，or GXUN, lies in Nanning, which is the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and a city awarded with the title of "UN Habitat Scroll of Honor" by the United Nations. Founded in 1952, GXUN is a key university in Guangxi co-built by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. With an area of 327 acres, the University consists of 19 colleges and 9 research centers with 58 bachelor’s and 46 master degree’s programs, covering 9 disciplines including philosophy, history, law, education, literature, management, science, engineering and economics. It holds nationwide bases or teaching or research institutions such as the National Training Base of Undergraduate Education for Less-commonly Taught Languages designated by the Ministry of Education and China–ASEAN Legal Training Base. It is also one of     China   ’s Key Universities Helping Teaching Chinese in the Surrounding Countries, an institution to recruit international students under the Chinese Government Scholarship, an     Executive     School   of the Training Program in     China   for Overseas Chinese Teachers, the      Executive      School   of the Volunteer Chinese Teacher Program and a test center for HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test). It has established two Confucius Institutes with counterparts in     Thailand   and      Laos   . In 2009, it was given the honor to upgrade its level, a newly added construction unit to confer a doctoral degree in Guangxi from 2008-2015. It was further selected as the advanced collective for foreign students’ education and management by Chinese Association for International Education (CAFSA).  

Now the University has one national level talent training base, 5 provincial level key disciplines as well as 4 key laboratories and training bases, 5 provincial level key research bases of humanities and social sciences and 5 experimental teaching demonstration centers. Its 11 disciplinary projects of key laboratory construction for their characteristic strengths have been listed in the Project Co-built by the Central and Local Governments. Those experimental research institutions such as key disciplines form the academic platform to cultivate the highly-qualified and high-level talents.  

For the past five years, the University has been awarded 3 items of nationwide second prizes of teaching achievements, 2 National Excellent Courses, 4 programs of construction spots for their special subjects by the Ministry of Education, 20 provincial level prizes of Teaching Achievement Award (including 1 grand prize and 4 items of first prize), 12 newly added high-quality majors as well as 18 excellent courses and key courses. It also undertakes 70 provincial or ministerial or even higher level programs of educational reform.  

It actively carries out international cooperation and exchange activities, and has established exchanges and cooperation with 76 foreign universities or academic institutions. A total of 6,087 students from the University have been sent to universities in the ASEAN countries for further study and over 6000 international students from 29 countries admitted here. It has also taken the task of training volunteers for China-ASEAN Expo for 6 consecutive sessions. A total of more than 3500 volunteers have been selected to serve China-ASEAN Expo and the      China   - ASEAN Trade Fair. State leaders and other officials such as Vietnamese President Tran Duc Luong and Deputy Premier Pham Gia Khiem, Princess Sirindhorn of     Thailand   , Prime Minister Bouasone of      Laos   and other officials from other ASEAN countries have left their traces here. I. Visiting Students for Chinese Study  

i. Curriculum  

Class for Chinese Preliminary Study:  

Courses include Chinese (elementary), Spoken Chinese (elementary), Chinese Listening (elementary), and Chinese Reading (elementary), etc.  

Class for Chinese Intermediate Study:  

Courses include Chinese (medium), Spoken Chinese (medium), Chinese Listening (medium), Chinese Reading (medium)，Spoken Chinese for International Trade, Chinese Writing (medium), Language in Newspaper, and Chinese Language Information Processing, etc.  

Class for Chinese Advanced Study:  

Courses include Chinese (advanced), Spoken Chinese (advanced), Chinese Listening (advanced), Chinese Grammar, Classical Chinese Literature, Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature, Business Chinese, Chinese Culture, Chinese Character Culture, Chinese Geography, Chinese History, Chinese Economy, and Writing for International Trade.  

Applicants with certain Chinese base are allowed to transfer into their target class according to their grades. Visiting students may choose either the half-year class, or the whole-year class or even longer class.

Students should be over 16 years old, healthy, and with a valid passport.

II. Undergraduate Courses  

i. Undergraduate Courses of Chinese Language and Culture  

1.General Introduction  

The purpose of this course is to cultivate talents who work on the research of Chinese culture and communication and are able to communicate and work skillfully in Chinese.  

2.Curriculum  

Comprehensive Chinese (Preliminary, Intermediate, Advanced), Spoken-Chinese(Preliminary, Intermediate, Advanced)，Chinese Listening，Chinese Reading，Chinese Writing，Chinese Grammar，Chinese Contemporary Literature, Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature, Classical Chinese Literature，General Survey of China，and Chinese Culture, etc.  

ii. Other Bachelor Courses  

iii. Admission Procedures  

1. An applicant must be a holder of valid passport of foreign citizens in good health, willing to abide by Chinese laws and regulations and the regulations of the University, respecting the customs of the Chinese people.  

2. An applicant must have a graduation certificate of high school or higher.  

3. An applicant who wants to study Chinese literature, history and philosophy is required to achieve "Chinese Proficiency Certificate (HSK)" Level 6 (medium C). Those who study other courses (including courses for Chinese Language and Literature) must achieve level 3 (primary C).    

iv. Graduation  

 After gaining all the credits, a qualified student shall be conferred a diploma. Those who have passed thesis defense and other requirements shall be awarded certificates for bachelor’s degree.

1.An applicant should hold an undergraduate diploma.  

2. An applicant should pass the HSK medium C of Level 6.

After gaining all the credits, a qualified student shall be conferred a diploma. Those who pass thesis defense and other requirements shall be awarded certificates for master’s degree.

All the quoted prices hereafter are in Chinese Yuan (¥ / RMB)    

1．For Chinese Language Study

V. Winter and Summer Camp    

Notes:  

1．The expenses include tuition,accommodations, meals, pick-up at the railway station (airport), and the sight-seeing activities in the schedule.  

2．There are has 10-12 classes each week, and it can be changed flexibly according to students’ needs.  

3．The standard of accommodation: Standard room with two beds, a color TV set, a telephone and air conditioning, water heater, and so on.  

4．More than 10 people shall make up a tourist group. When a group is more than 20 people, get one person free of charge.
